Booth, Ern, Straughan & Hiott, Inc., was recently awarded a contract by the City of Leesburg to conduct preliminary design work for proposed expansions to the Plantation WTP. Work includes capacity analysis, hydraulic modeling and geotechnical investigations as necessary to provide engineering design and permitting services for this expansion. BESH is looking forward to serving the City of Leesburg and its residents on this exciting project!

BESH is currently working on two projects for the City of Umatilla, Florida - Orange Avenue Stormwater Improvements and Harris Street Improvements. Orange Ave. Located in the City of Umatilla, the Orange Avenue Stormwater Improvements project consists of the reconstruction of approximately 0.5 miles of open roadway section to a closed curb and gutter section, a 5 foot sidewalk and a stormwater management collection system consisting of inlets and pipes. One of BESH’s current projects, Vista at Lost Lake Apartments-Phase 2 is breaking ground. Phase 2 consists of 192 units, parking area, clubhouse and pool. Vista at Lost Lakes is located in south Clermont, Florida. BESH was responsible for engineering design, survey, and permitting. BESH will also provide partial construction management services. Anticipated completion for this project is early Fall 2013.
