JB Ranch is a 320 acre planned unit development (PUD) in Marion County between SR200 & SW 60th Avenue. BESH is the Engineer and Surveyor of record for this project providing surveying, master planning, design, permitting, construction management and platting services for this project. This project currently consists of 470 home sites of 1,100 proposed, a community clubhouse with pool and tennis, water treatment plant (also designed by BESH) to serve this project and surrounding area, a 4 lane divided roadway (SW 95th Street) extending from SR200 to SW 60th Ave, and a regional lift station that consists of 2 – 150Hp duplex lift stations and 6 miles of 20” & 24” off-site force main.
Kings Ridge is a Development of Regional Impact (DRI) that was started in 1994 located south of Clermont in Lake County. After phase 1 was completed, it was annexed into the City of Clermont. Duane Booth and BESH have been the Engineers and Surveyors of record for this project since its beginnings and have overseen the master planning, design, permitting and development. This project consists of 1,843 acres, 4,337 single family residential units, 300,000 square feet of commercial and professional office space, 54 holes of golf, 3 community club houses, 4 pools and over 40 miles of internal roadways. Being a DRI, this project was required to make certain off site improvements which included, construction of 1.5 miles of Hancock Road, Intersection improvements at US 27 & SR 50, Intersection improvements and signal at Hartwood Marsh Rd. & US 27, and 2.0 miles of off-site water, sanitary sewer and reuse water capital improvements, 1.5 miles of capital 30” force main and 3 triplex 88Hp lift stations.
Bellechase is a 554 acre planned unit development consisting of 682 single family home sites varying in size from ¼ acre to 1 acre in size over 11 phases. Bellechase was designed to preserve the natural beauty of the 100 year old oaks and hardwood woodlands, protect wetlands, and preserve the Roosevelt cave system. BESH provided survey and civil design for all site improvements, permitting and construction management services.
Mission Inn Golf & Tennis Resort dates its history back to the early 1900’s originally known as Floridian Country Club. The Beucher family purchased the property in 1964 and renovated the existing 18 hole golf course and clubhouse. In 1969 the decision was made to transform this Country Club into a Spanish Colonial golf resort and the name was changed to Mission Inn Golf and Tennis Resort. In 1992 a second golf course was added called Las Colinas. BESH started working with the Beucher family in 1994 on the design of a new Clubhouse with a golf pro shop and a casual dining restaurant. In 1996 BESH assisted with the expansion of the Clubhouse to include Banquet rooms and in 2005 addition of a fitness center. In 1998 BESH designed and permitted the first phase of the residential portion of this project surrounding the Las Colinas golf course and in 2003 designed phase two totaling 187 units. In 2005 BESH designed and permitted an additional 40 residential units. Mission Inn is a Lake County PUD approved for 1,606 total residential units.
Stonecrest is a Development of Regional Impact (DRI) that was started in 1992 located in south Marion County just north of the Villages on US 27. Duane Booth and BESH have been the Engineers and Surveyors of record for this project since its beginning and have overseen the master planning, design, permitting and development. This project consists of 680 acres, 2500 single family residential units, 150,000 square feet of commercial and professional office space, 27 holes of golf, community club house & pro shop, pool, recreation center with softball fields & tennis courts, and over 20 miles of internal roadways. This project also included water treatment and wastewater treatment facilities recently purchased by Marion County Utilities.
Sugarloaf Mountain is a 677 acre Development of Regional Impact (DRI) located on CR455 scenic highway between Astatula and Monteverde in Lake County. BESH is the Engineer and Surveyor of record for this project providing surveying, DRI support, master planning, design, permitting, construction management and platting services for this project. This project currently consists of 180 home sites of the 2,250 proposed, a temporary Golf Clubhouse, 18 hole Ben Crenshaw designed golf course, 5.76 mgd water treatment plant to serve this project and surrounding area dedicated to the City of Minneola, 2 – 88 HP triplex lift stations with 2 miles of 16” off-site force main.
