BESH was the Engineer of Record for planning, utility design, stormwater permitting and construction management services. Kimley –Horn provided the roadway design coordinating with BESH as the prime consultant for the JB Ranch project. BESH provided complete route survey, sketch and legals for right of way dedication, and utility locates as well as design for the stormwater management system, capital water, wastewater (including capitol lift station and 30 inch force main), and reuse water utilities and coordinated the installation of all dry utilities (phone, power & cable TV). Construction management services included weekly construction progress meetings, minimum of 3 visits per week to observe construction for conformance with plans and specifications, review contractor pay requests, coordinate installation of dry utilities, review of testing results, final inspections and certification of completion to local and state agencies. Agency coordination included Marion County, Florida Department of Transportation, Florida Department of Environmental Protection, and Southwest Florida Water Management District.
