Water Treatment Plant #1, #2, and #3

The scope of work included final design, preparation of construction plans, permitting and construction management for three new water treatment plants with a combined capacity of 20.880 mgd. All subconsultants worked directly for Booth, Ern, Straughan & Hiott, Inc. The combined plants consisted of six, 12“ upper Floridan and two, 16” lower Floridan potable water wells pumping at 2,000 gpm each, a 500,000 gallon elevated storage tank, two ground storage tanks (2.5 MG total), forced draft aeration systems, VFD controlled high service pumping, pH adjustment systems, gas chlorination, backup power generation, I & C and SCADA, along with the related pump and electrical buildings.

Construction Cost: $9,200,000.00
