Duane K. Booth, P.E. President/Principal
Mr. Booth is a Licensed Professional Civil Engineer with over 3 decades of experience in designing, permitting and construction oversight for a variety of projects - ranging from commercial and industrial sites, municipal facilities, large scale residential and multifamily projects to roadway design, community and regional parks, water and wastewater infrastructure, stormwater treatment, flood studies, borrow pit and mining projects. Permitting for such projects includes all Florida Water Management Districts, Florida Department of Environmental Regulation, Army Corp of Engineers, Florida Department of Transportation, local Counties and Municipalities. His project management experience covers conceptual project planning, development of construction documents and specifications, working closely with permitting agencies, value engineering, cost estimating, bidding, construction management and project close out. He oversees quality control to ensure the client's goals and needs are met while adhering to local, state and federal codes, and regulations. As the lead consultant/project manager, he oversees other related disciplines needed for site-related design including electrical, structural, geotechnical, environmental, and architectural consultants - providing a complete package for clients. Mr. Booth is also very involved in the local community and not for profit organizations.
Robert A. Ern, Jr., P.E. Vice President/Principal
Mr. Ern is a Licensed Professional Civil Engineer with extensive experience in all aspects of utility design. He specializes in civil engineering project management and has applied his knowledge to a variety of utility-related projects in all aspects and phases of design, from preliminary to final. His credentials include design and permitting of wastewater treatment plants, water treatment plants, sewage pump stations, water booster pump stations, collection, transmission and distribution systems, as well as master planning of utility facilities and impact fee studies. Mr. Ern also has extensive experience in the construction management of utility projects, multiple project delivery methods including Design/Bid/Build, Design/Build, and Project Manager-at-Risk - for both public and private clients. He also assists clients with obtaining funding for utility projects through the State Revolving Fund Program. As the the City Engineer for the Cities of Tavares, Mount Dora, Groveland, Howey-in-the-Hills and Minneola, he provides design services and continuing engineering services including the creation of Utility Design Standards and Land Development Regulations. Additionally, he is also thoroughly knowledgeable regarding development applications on behalf of his municipal clients to ensure compatibility with current codes and regulations.
Charles C. Hiott, P.E., Treasurer/Principal
Mr. Hiott is a Licensed Professional Civil Engineer specializing in the design and layout of residential and commercial sites including geometry, grading, drainage, and permitting. His project management experience encompasses preliminary and final design, value engineering, cost estimating, specification writing, bidding, and construction management. He participates in quality control to ensure compliance with local and state codes and adherence to the Client’s needs. He coordinates with other related disciplines, including electrical, structural, geotechnical and architectural consultants in order to provide a complete package for clients. Mr. Hiott is heavily experienced in civil engineering project management for a variety of related projects. He involves himself in all aspects and phases of design - from preliminary to final.
